The Future of POMTOC Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company, L.C., (POMTOC) is the Port of Miami’s only private terminal operator serving the shipping community since 1995 by providing a broad mix of essential services to the global shipping industry. In the past 10 years we have averaged over 10% growth per year in our terminal. We expect this unprecedented growth to continue due to the increase in Far East containerized cargo moving through the Panama and Suez canals to East Coast Ports. In addition our trade with Latin America and the Our investment in leading edge software and terminal operations technology was a major step towards maximizing the efficiency of POMTOC. Our customers through our Terminal Operating System (TOS) have complete visibility of containers moving through our gates, yard and to/from vessels. Our TOS also allows importers, exporters, brokers, forwarders and truckers to have immediate online access with real time information on container availability, bookings, demurrage charges, online payments, truckers’ interchanges and gate activities.
